Mr. DiPaolo is of counsel to BECKER LEGAL GROUP LLC, splitting his time between New York and São Paulo, Brazil. His practice focuses on sophisticated corporate transactions, including advising clients in connection with Brazilian and Latin American-related matters.

Mr. DiPaolo has significant experience representing clients in connection with mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, fund formation, alternative investment management, finance transactions, securities offerings, private placements, joint ventures, technology transactions and general corporate matters. He has represented and advised many United States based investors and entities interested in investing and operating in Brazil, as well as Brazil based clients interested in investing and operating in the United States. Mr. DiPaolo also has extensive expertise representing Brazil based companies being acquired or invested in by United States and other foreign based entities.

Prior to joining BECKER LEGAL GROUP LLC, Mr. DiPaolo worked in New York City for several large international law firms, including Hughes Hubbard & Reed, LLP, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP and Winthrop Stimson Putnam & Roberts, LLP. In addition to his position with Rele & Becker, Mr. DiPaolo is the founder and managing director of The Fidelis Law Group, a leading legal consultancy located in São Paulo, Brazil.

Mr. DiPaolo earned his J.D. with high honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1994, where he was a member of the North Carolina Law Review. He received a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in art from the University of Akron in 1983, and a Master of Theology with high honors from Dallas Theological Seminary in May 1987. He is admitted to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia.
